Greetings in Jesus' Name.
Haggai 1:5 "Now therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts: Consider your ways."
We know that these are serious words that the Lord was using through the prophet to His people. These words brought about a great stirring and work for God.
Haggai 1:14 "And the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel...and they came and did work in the house of the Lord of hosts, their God."
After this great encounter with the Word of the Lord, God wants His people to consider something else.
Haggai 2:18, 19 "Consider now from this day and upward...from this day will I bless you."
Several months ago, God used the book of Haggai to bring about a spiritual stirring in my heart and soul. After serving the Lord for 30 years, I have an inward witness of entering into a new season of ministry. My wife, Terri, and I have a desire to see souls saved and God's people working together to build the Kingdom of God. I believe God wants to bless His people forward.
2 Kings 25:24 (KJV)
And Gedaliah sware to them, and to their men, and said unto them, Fear not to be the servants of the Chaldees: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon; and it shall be well with you.

I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel. For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me. I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. KJV
